meet Dr. Schuering

Ryan A. Schuering, D.O., FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist practicing in the Palm Beach and Martin County area. He trained in South Florida where he has the pleasure of working with patients from broad ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds. Dr. Schuering is highly experienced in a wide range of dermatologic conditions.

Mission

 Dr. Schuering strives to bring personalized care to his patients. He believes that every patient is unique and deserves an approach catered to the individual. Our mission is to provide meaningful, patient-centered healthcare and to improve the quality of life and well-being of our patients. Dr. Schuering stays up to date with the ever-changing field of dermatology and is part of numerous dermatology communities. 

Background

Dr. Schuering was born and raised in South Florida. He received his undergraduate degrees at the University of Chicago in biochemistry and chemistry. He was on the dean’s list at the University of Chicago and considered pursuing a Ph.D. in science before realizing his real passion was in medicine. After experiencing the wonderful winters of Chicago, he promptly returned to Florida to receive his medical degree at LECOM, Bradenton.

He completed his intern year at Largo Medical Center in the Tampa Bay area. There, he received training in the various fields of internal medicine and surgery. After three years of residency training in South Florida at Larkin Medical Hospital, he received his specialty degree in dermatology and board certification.

Dr. Schuering’s many hobbies include photography and scuba diving. He is also an avid traveler, and when possible, tries to combine these hobbies. He loves the richness of exploring other cultures and the unique perspectives it brings.

She got all my information, and shortly after Kimberly came in and gave me a head to toe check up..
